Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra de Los Filabres stand Casa Roja and Casa Mary. These two rustic houses snuggle together in a secluded valley near Uleila de Campo amongst fields of olives and almond trees, with spectacular views south. “That view” caught us in its spell the first time we stood here, and it catches everyone else who visits. We bought Casa Roja intending it to be a short-term foothold to test life in Spain, but the area and the people just drew us in.
